June 23, 2005 – A UB evening at the Polish Embassy attracted some 125 participants, who enjoyed two presentations by UB professors, Drs. Peter Gessen and Kazimierz Braun, regarding the the history of Poland and the country's association with the University at Buffalo. The group was welcomed by Professor Andrezj Ranczenko, counsel for science and technology for the rmbassy. Following the presentations, the group feasted on Polish fare prepared by the embassy chef.
