Greetings Rochester Alumni!

Welcome to the Rochester Chapter home page. Rochester’s proximity to UB has allowed the chapter to participate in some unique and exciting programs.

The Rochester chapter participates in a diverse range of activities that serve the needs of local alumni, present and potential UB students, and the community at large:

Our Summer Send-Off Picnic invites incoming UB freshman from the Rochester area to a fun picnic event that allows them to meet fellow other incoming freshmen from the Rochester area and to ask questions to upper classman and academic staff.
The Computer Science Scholars day introduced the area’s top high school computer science scholars to UB’s state of the art super computing facility.
Area alumni are able to meet and have fun at a variety of social venues that have included wine tastings, theater events, baseball and soccer outings, speaker series, etc. Rochester Alumni have also tried to contribute to the local community through group volunteer efforts for local charities.

Everyone seems to have fun participating in events (which are partially funded by UBAA membership – so please consider joining) or serving as a member on the committee board. I encourage you to attend a chapter event or consider serving as a volunteer/board member. It doesn’t take much time and you will get more out of it than you put in.
