@UB: September 2006Are you ready for Homecoming 2006? Please join us back on campus Oct. 6-7 to catch all the new action as well as your favorite Homecoming traditions: the first Dodge "bull" tournament and Alumni College, carnival, parade of marching bands, campus tours and more. Football fever is rising this season with the reinvigorated Bulls, and hopes are high that UB will defeat Ball State in UB Stadium on Oct. 7. Homecoming culminates with a Night of Comedy, featuring UB alumnus Alan Zweibel, original Saturday Night Live writer; Emmy-award winner; creator, producer and writer for It's Garry Shandling's Show; and producer on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. Zweibel will entertain the audience with his recollections of SNL, his days at UB, and what it's like to be an award-winning comedic writer. Learn more or order tickets online now. http://alumni.buffalo.edu/homecoming This is the last issue of @UB for me as your interim associate vice president for alumni relations; I am very pleased to announce that Graham Stewart has been named the new AVP, and will take the helm Oct. 2. Graham comes to us from Ithaca College where he has served as director of alumni relations since 1999. His background also includes working as director of music admission at Ithaca and director of marketing and public relations for Cornell University. He is also an accomplished professional musician, and holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in music and a master's degree in communication from Ithaca College. As I return to my duties as associate director in the alumni office, I invite you to join me in wishing him well in his new position. Michael L. Jankowski, Interim Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations
