Discounts Recreation and Intramurals Information Appliances Merchandise discounts on hundreds of products are available through UB's partnership with The Buyer's Edge. Simply shop locally for vacuums, major appliances, fine jewelry, moving services, exercise equipment, computers, and scores of other items, making notes of model numbers and manufacturers as you go. Then, check with Buyer's Edge to see if there are any discounts available. Discounted prices are also available on vacation packages through Travelers Edge at 1-800-634-8538. All of the discounts are unlocked with a special username and password, provided by the UB Alumni Association. Buyer's Edge member information AT&T Internet Service Discount One of the most exciting membership benefits is the exclusive Internet Service Discount through AT&T. Three rates are available on a month-by-month billing process: $5.95/month for 5 hours of usage (no setup fee), 3 MB e-mail storage $17.95/ month for 150 hours of usage (one time set-up fee of $10), 6 MB e-mail storage $24.95/month for 150 hours of usage (no setup fee), 12 MB e-mail storage and 10 MB web space Additional users are allowed but there are set-up fees and surcharges; cost for additional hours on the first two plans is $4.95/hour while the premium plan charges $.99/hour. You can then call AT&T toll-free to sign up or download the access kit online from their site. Buffalo Business Magazine Members receive the award-winning Buffalo Business magazine published semi-annually, exclusively for School of Management alumni. Families will receive FREE year round admission to the zoo, FREE or reduced admission to more than 100 zoos and aquariums, FREE subscription to Zoolog, two FREE guest passes, one FREE parking voucher, discounts at the Zootique gift shop and more! Discounted registration fees to UB alumni events Distinguished Speakers Series Discount UB Alumni Association members are eligible for the UB faculty and staff price for the annual Distinguished Speakers Series lectures. SUNY Press online UB Bulls Ticket Discounts Show your UB Alumni Association membership card at the Athletics ticket office and receive $2 off each UB Bulls football and basketball individual game ticket purchased. The ticket office is located in the lobby of Alumni Arena on UB's North Campus, (716) 645-6666. UB Athletics website UB Center for the Arts Discount Members can now attend shows and concerts at UB's own Center for the Arts at a discount. As a member you will receive at least $3 off the top two ticket prices for most shows at the Center. Additionally members will receive the opportunity to purchase tickets prior to the general public to ensure great seats for every show! Schedule of events UB Diploma Frame Discount Attractive, official UB diploma frames are available with a $5 discount for UB Alumni Association members. The standard size fits a 9-3/4" x 12-1/2" diploma and comes in three different styles. Dental, Law and Medical frames are also available in three different styles. Proceeds benefit the J. Privileges UB Library Borrowing Privileges UB Alumni Association members have borrowing privileges at all campus locations, as well as full on-site access to all searchable databases. Due to licensing restrictions, UB Alumni can access most subscription databases only from computers located in the Reference/Information areas of the UB Libraries, not from off campus. UB Alumni Association members living in Western New York will receive a library card with their membership materials. Members living outside the WNY area who are interested in receiving a card to use during a visit to campus should contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (716) 829-2608 or 1-800-284-5382. UB Libraries homepage UB Campus Club The UB Campus Club, a spirited group of faculty and staff, has recently agreed to open their membership to members of the UB Alumni Association. Annual dues are $25 and benefits include campus social invitations, as well as reciprocal privileges at hundreds of Campus Clubs around the country and in other countries.
