All about UB Connect

UB Connect is an online tool exclusively for use by UB graduates. The community has many features that benefit alumni, including:

• Online directory: use the online directory to connect with your former classmates, sorority sisters, teammates and fellow club members. And, you can manage your own directory listing by updating your address, providing a new e-mail address, changing your username and password or submitting a photo – all at the click of a button.
• Class Notes: Do you have a new job or promotion? Were you recently married or do you have a new baby? Share it with your UB friends on UB Connect – your good news will be posted immediately on class notes! You can even post photos of yourself, your new little one or your whole family.
• Permanent e-mail forwarding: Show your UB connection by signing up for a UB e-mail address. With this virtual address, your e-mail will be forwarded to the e-mail address you designate, whether hosted by AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo or other provider.
• Careers/Networking: With this feature, you may post your resume, search for jobs and find helpful career information.

UB Connect is easy to use!

• All you have to do is register to establish your username and password! Registration takes only a moment, and is completed in four easy steps.
• Your directory listing has already been created for you – all you have to do is decide what you would like changed, or what you’d like to be viewable to others.

UB Connect is secure!

• We understand that security and confidentiality are top priorities. Therefore, we have taken steps to ensure that your information is protected: the community is available only to your fellow graduates, e-mail addresses are blind, we have empowered you to manage your own directory listing, and we monitor the site to ensure appropriate use. We’re also concerned with SPAM, and have put safeguards in place to reduce the possibility of unsolicited e-mails.
